Greetings, and thank you for taking the time to consider The Prototyper, a Minnesota company with in operation for over a decade.

I started The Prototyper with the main focus on prototyping metal and plastic prototype parts. My goal was to help engineers and buyers address anything that had to do with prototyping, giving them one source for all of their prototyping needs. They would no longer be forced to search and go from one company to the next for various stages, products, materials, and/or methods of product development prior to production.

This goal has been achieved through multiple tooling options, innovative methods for injection molding, and metal castings in just days—while keeping our customers’ needs ahead of it all. Over the past few years, we have expanded our offerings into production, including imported die cast parts and cut injection tooling from the Far East, namely Taiwan. We now can take your projects from one stage to the next: design to rapid prototype to bridge-to-production and into production. Let us benchmark a program for you.
